Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for implementing recruiting strategies that align with organizational staffing goals to attract top-tier technical talent for roles in Fiber Data Centers, Security, Audio/Visual, and Structured Cabling.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Clarify job specifications, competencies, and required skills.
  • Align candidate profiles with staffing objectives.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and referrals.
  • Maintain professional networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone interviews and document candidate experiences.
  • Review resumes to assess candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to management.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain an accurate candidate database.
  • Extend job offers in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee the job offer process, including negotiation and administration.
  • Stay informed about sourcing strategies and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state recruitment regulations and Affirmative Action policies.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structured cabling recruitment.
  • Preferred experience in staffing agency recruitment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in candidate sourcing solutions.
Skills and Abilities:

Work Environment: The standard work environment for this position includes both an indoor office and construction settings. The role requires the ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. The noise level is typically moderate. Regular physical activities include sitting, talking, using hands, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Climbing ladders and working in confined spaces may also be required. Regular attendance is essential, and occasional travel may be necessary.
