Position Overview:

We are seeking a Culinary Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and fostering teamwork within our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure timely preparation of meals for our community.
  • Direct the preparation and service of all menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes, food safety standards, and dietary restrictions.
  • Supervise the scheduling, training, and performance management of culinary staff, stepping in for the head chef as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining areas, and storage facilities.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a full-service culinary setting.
  • A minimum of 6 months in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; completion of a certified culinary program is a plus.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions, from hot kitchens to cold storage.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required.
