The Culinary Operations Supervisor is tasked with ensuring the quality of food that aligns with customer expectations and the standards set by Accent Foods. This role involves overseeing and coordinating the efforts of cooks and other team members engaged in the preparation and cooking of food products. A focus on maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential. The supervisor also plays a key role in maximizing revenue and profitability while fostering employee development through coaching in the nuances of Food Production. Recognizing employees who take initiative to meet or exceed customer expectations is a vital part of this role. The Culinary Operations Supervisor will cultivate a culture of integrity by embodying and communicating the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate all policies and procedures to the entire team.
- Conduct regular pre-shift meetings to share essential information, including company updates, policies, and local goals.
- Oversee the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food in a safe, sanitary, and cost-efficient manner.
- Assist in analyzing, forecasting, monitoring, and controlling labor and food costs.
- Enforce safety and sanitation protocols throughout the kitchen, including storage areas.
- Support the ordering and purchasing of food to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage food waste to minimize costs.
- Provide assistance to the Food Service Director as needed.

Culinary Experience: 5 years (Required)
Cooking Experience: 5 years (Required)
Culinary Supervisory Experience: 5 years
Ability to work independently, with a strong focus on detail.
Capability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds consistently.
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands/fingers to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
