The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food production and service meet established standards. This role involves maintaining high levels of food quality, cleanliness, and profitability while effectively managing kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all food received meets health and corporate standards.
  • Oversee food preparation to align with corporate recipes and presentation standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food products.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on inventory and food orders.
  • Maintain proper food rotation to guarantee freshness.
  • Monitor sales trends to adjust food preparation levels accordingly.

  • Verify that all kitchen stations are adequately stocked and organized.
  • Conduct routine kitchen inspections to uphold food quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Implement cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff schedules effectively.
  • Monitor labor costs by managing staff hours.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily standing for 80% of the workday.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and moisture levels.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to read and understand basic cooking instructions.
