Position Overview:

Staffing Ninja is looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee various customer project initiatives, ranging from compact control systems to intricate e-House solutions. This role is pivotal in initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and concluding customer projects to surpass expectations. The Project Manager will handle projects that involve Electrical Enclosures (e-Houses) equipped with electrical distribution and automation control systems, HVAC, fire and gas systems, alongside additional customer specifications and services. The position covers the entire project lifecycle from order preparation through to post-shipment support and financial reconciliation, leveraging expertise in electrical products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Initiation: Confirm the project's scope, timeline, budget, and contractual terms with the client, addressing risks and technical as well as commercial aspects. Act as the primary contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Planning: Create and sustain project structure, timeline, and risk management documentation. Maintain communication with the client to ensure alignment with expectations. Collaborate directly with the client, internal manufacturing teams, and external vendors.
  • Project Execution: Supervise project implementation through kickoff meetings, timelines, and effective communication. Facilitate decision-making processes for cross-functional efficiency. Manage risks and changes, resolving issues through client interaction to foster positive feedback and strengthen relationships.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Oversee project performance, ensuring task completion, monitoring project teams, and providing updates. Communicate project performance metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Project Closeout: Direct project closure activities, including financial reconciliation, equipment verification upon arrival, installation coordination, and completion of training support. Serve as the liaison with the client and coordinate with support services. Document lessons learned and secure approvals for future initiatives.

  • Proven leadership capabilities, including team guidance, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative work.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time/project management proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and financial oversight.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain technical and commercial insight.
  • Capacity to devise and implement short- and medium-term strategies to enhance customer satisfaction while driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective decision-making and conflict resolution skills, with the capability to escalate issues as necessary.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
  • PMP (PMI) or CPMP/CPMA SE Internal Certification is desirable.
