OPPORTUNITY - Senior Site Civil Project Engineer

Join our dynamic Civil Engineering Team at Cyntergy, where we are committed to delivering innovative and diverse project solutions. This role presents a unique opportunity for an individual to become a key member of our Civil Team Leadership Group. The successful candidate will leverage strong technical expertise to address site development civil challenges for our clients while contributing to the continuous enhancement of our design processes, quality assurance checklists, and production drawing and modeling templates (Civil 3D). Our projects span local, regional, and national scopes, serving a variety of sectors including Federal Government, Local Municipal, Retail, Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial clients. This position offers the chance to lead large-scale, multi-million dollar projects as the Civil Discipline Lead or oversee multiple smaller projects while mentoring civil designers and technicians.

ACTIVITIES - Senior Site Civil Project Engineer

The Senior Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution of civil engineering site development projects and associated activities, including:

  • Scope definition and feasibility studies
  • Development of design proposals and narratives
  • Preparation of formal engineering reports
  • Specification reviews and design calculations
  • System modeling and geotechnical report assessments
  • Site survey evaluations and client review meetings
  • City development consultations and site construction observations
  • Documentation of formal meetings and responses to construction inquiries
  • Collaboration with both in-house and remote teams

The ideal candidate will thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment, ensuring timely delivery of well-coordinated projects within budget constraints. Occasional travel may be required for the purpose of documenting existing conditions.

SKILLS - Senior Site Civil Project Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with current design trends and local regulations
  • Knowledge of Federal Facility Criteria - Whole Building Design Guide
  • Understanding of industry standards for civil design illustration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare project proposals, including fee estimations
  • Willingness to accommodate overnight travel by car and air
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3-D software
