Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Manage all stages of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning to final completion.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Direct and oversee project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to assess project status, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment with objectives.
    • Offer mentorship and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring completion within financial limits.

    • Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met.
    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Keep accurate and current project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting notes.
    • Prepare necessary documentation for inspections, permits, and approvals.
    • Generate consistent reports on project status, financials, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-7 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects.
    • Demonstrated success in overseeing commercial construction initiatives.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Familiarity with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Certifications:
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is advantageous.
    • LEED Accreditation or other relevant certifications are beneficial.
