Position Overview:

Staffing Ninja is in search of a Project Manager who will be accountable for directing a variety of client project orders, ranging from compact enclosed control systems to intricate e-House initiatives. This role necessitates the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of client projects to surpass expectations. The Project Manager will oversee projects that encompass Electrical Enclosures (e-Houses) integrated with electrical distribution and automation control systems, HVAC, fire and gas systems, along with additional customer features and services. The position covers the complete job lifecycle from order preparation, manufacturing release, product shipment, post-shipment support, to financial reconciliation, leveraging expertise in electrical products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Initiation: Confirm the project's scope, timeline, budget, and contractual terms with the client, including risk assessment and technical as well as commercial considerations. Act as the primary liaison for the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Planning: Create and sustain project organization, timelines, and risk management documentation. Maintain communication with the client to ensure alignment with expectations. Collaborate directly with the client, internal manufacturing teams, and external vendors.
  • Project Execution: Supervise project implementation through kickoff meetings, project timelines, and effective communication. Facilitate decision-making processes for cross-functional efficiency. Manage risks and changes, addressing issues through client engagement to foster positive feedback and strengthen relationships.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Track project performance, ensuring task completion, monitoring project teams, and providing updates. Report on project performance metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Project Closure: Direct project closure activities, including financial reconciliation, verification of equipment arrival, coordination of installation and startup, and completion of training support. Serve as the main point of contact for the client and coordinate with support services. Document lessons learned and secure approvals for future projects.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a capacity to comprehend complex technical subjects.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including team guidance, mentoring, and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative work.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time/project management expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and financial oversight.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain technical and commercial insight.
  • Proficient in defining and executing short- and medium-term strategies to enhance client satisfaction while driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Results-driven with analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
  • PMP (PMI) or CPMP/CPMA SE Internal Certification is preferred.
