Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced International Accounting & Consolidations Manager to oversee the accounting operations and consolidations for our multinational organization. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing and streamlining international accounting processes, consolidations, and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analytical reviews of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting packages for all international subsidiaries.
  • Manage the system translation, elimination, and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of intercompany balances.
  • Support the monthly consolidation cycle, including managing the global close calendar and preparing fluctuation analyses in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist with corporate audits related to international reporting and provide necessary reconciliation support.
  • Ensure compliance with intercompany agreement terms and manage timely settlements.
  • Oversee statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate payroll and corporate tax payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms on transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls for international accounting operations, identifying opportunities for process automation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for the establishment of new legal entities and accounting operations.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize accounting processes and enhance efficiency across the global team.
  • Support financial analysis and forecasting efforts in collaboration with other departments.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the International Accounting team, promoting professional growth.
  • Maintain updated documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.
  • Validate system interfaces and manage consolidation-related issues.
  • Optimize accounting systems for effective international reporting.
  • Drive improvements in processes and reporting while ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a public company or public accounting firm with global operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
