We collaborate with candidates and clients on both local and national levels, assisting in staffing across various regions of the US, from entry-level software engineers to technical sales engineers, technical sales executives, and executive recruiting.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager who will be accountable for implementing generally accepted accounting principles and practices to oversee, manage, and execute monthly closing activities. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing precise and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring proper internal control procedures, and innovating to enhance accuracy while minimizing time-to-close.

You will play a crucial role in a dynamic accounting and finance team and should be an enthusiastic and proactive individual who excels in a fast-paced startup environment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and results analysis, covering cash, prepaid expenses, other assets, fixed assets, accounts payable, payroll, accruals, commissions, and expense classification.
- Assist in calculating commission payments.
- Conduct monthly consolidation of international entities.
- Support software revenue recognition (Rev Rec) under guidelines 605 & 985.
- Collaborate with Finance on monthly budget versus actual analyses.
- Aid in quarterly and annual income tax requests.
- Contribute to the annual budget planning process.

- Facilitate the external audit of the company's financial statements, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing auditor inquiries and requests.

- Help establish and uphold financial policies and procedures.
- Undertake other special projects and analyses as directed by management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Software Revenue Recognition, Sales Commission Calculation, International Consolidation, and Netsuite Implementation.
- A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a public accounting firm.
- Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word).
- Familiarity with Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Xactly (commission software).
