Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join our team as our first in-house finance professional. Reporting directly to the COO, the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SaaS and GAAP accounting principles. This role is crucial in providing financial insights that will support strategic decision-making and drive the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances.
  • Prepare and present timely monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, particularly regarding cloud expenditures.
  • Oversee cash flow and financial performance to facilitate effective cash management and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax obligations.
  • Provide the executive team with critical financial information and operational analytics, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Utilize prior experience in a professional accounting firm and as a controller in a venture-backed SaaS environment.
