Position Overview

In the role of Senior International Accountant, you will play a pivotal part in managing the accounting and compliance functions for several of our international entities. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization, you will assess the accounting implications of distinct transactions and ensure accurate journal entries are recorded. This position requires interaction with external service providers, including auditors and tax consultants, as well as internal teams in Finance and Legal, to maintain financial integrity and compliance within each jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete accounting and reporting processes for designated countries, including journal entry recording, monthly and year-end reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and coordination of tax, audit, and census submissions.
  • Assist in maintaining US GAAP consolidated reporting while reconciling it with local GAAP standards.
  • Facilitate global collaboration with local external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams to ensure adherence to all reporting obligations.
  • Guarantee precise and timely recording, reconciliation, and application of inter-company transactions.
  • Identify and implement automation and process enhancement opportunities, engaging cross-functionally to drive such initiatives.
  • Support various projects and special assignments as required.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Workiva is highly advantageous.
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA designation is preferred.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in finance and/or accounting roles within a multinational corporation based in the US.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; familiarity with share-based payments is a plus.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $142,000 annually. Total compensation may also include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonuses, and other potential incentives. The final compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
