Cardiometabolic Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiometabolic Sales Executive to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our current laboratory testing business and targeting new business opportunities in the cardiometabolic space.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth in assigned districts through up-selling of existing accounts, new lead generation, referrals, and establishing relationships with prospective customers.
- Target and close new specialty testing opportunities in the cardiometabolic space.
- Work closely with assigned Account Executives in the assigned district to achieve sales goals.
- Partner with hospital or physician representatives to address complex issues and provide full-touch service when required.
- Provide subject matter expertise for associated specialty testing and maintain a breadth of knowledge in associated specialist testing areas.
- Maintain knowledge of all connectivity products, including Care 360, e-orders, and e-prescribe.
- Prepare and present proposals and bids to secure new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly.
- Three or more years of sales experience in selling business-to-business with a history of documented sales success.
- Prior responsibility for closing new business and expanding existing relationships.
- Consideration will be given to candidates without prior sales experience who have strong records of academic, military, athletic, scientific, and/or civic leadership achievement.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business.
- Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Solid PC skills, including Microsoft software.
