Position Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated Onboarding Coordinator to join our human resources team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition for new employees as they embark on their journey with us.

Compensation: Starting pay is $22.04 per hour, accompanied by comprehensive full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and life insurance.

Location: This position is based in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for the New Employee Orientation (NEO) on a daily basis, ensuring all necessary materials (welcome packets, drug test kits, Chromebooks, headphones, pay cards, etc.) are ready for new hires.
  • Facilitate the NEO sessions, reviewing welcome kits, verifying Form I-9 documents, and administering drug tests.
  • Initiate onboarding documentation through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Complete the employer section of Form I-9 documents.
  • Update the ATS to ensure all required forms are completed.
  • Advance new hires in the internal system.
  • Maintain and update required fields in the internal system.
  • Enter compliance codes and direct deposit information.
  • Ensure that new hires complete the orientation process, which includes three lessons and a final examination.
  • Process rehires and update their information accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a professional administrative setting is preferred.
  • Ability to focus and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Strong management skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate with diverse personalities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adept at utilizing office management technology.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience in human resources or recruiting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with WinTeam or similar Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as DOMO is a plus.
