Role Summary

Heritage Senior Living/MSP Real Estate is on the lookout for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator. This role is essential in providing administrative assistance to the HR department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. This position is based in our support office and involves occasional travel to various communities within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with HR personnel and leadership across our properties.
  • Support daily HR administrative tasks.
  • Prepare, manage, and audit HR records and documentation.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including handling hiring paperwork.
  • Maintain employment records and generate statistics using HR information systems; ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Educate staff on company policies and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in managing leave of absence requests, employment verifications, and unemployment claims.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR experience; experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with employment and labor regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
