Role Summary: Under the guidance of an HR Supervisor, the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in addressing our HR requirements through various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts recruitment, interviews, and facilitates the selection of qualified Personal Care Workers (PCW) for available roles.
- Performs or obtains background checks and verifies employee eligibility.
- Conducts initial orientation sessions for newly hired PCWs.
- Maintains PCW records and ensures that all employee data is current.
- Organizes and schedules training for PCWs.
- Assists with the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Contributes to office organization and handles administrative tasks as assigned.
- Responds to and directs phone inquiries.
- Aids the HR Supervisor in preparing HR documentation.
- Addresses employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters.
- Engages in HR initiatives (e.g., assisting in organizing recruitment events).
- Accurately records all activities in the Electronic Health Record and Payroll System.
- Upholds confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with HR software systems, such as HRIS or HRMS.
- Competence in computer applications (MS Office 365 and Google Suite).
- Comprehensive understanding of labor regulations.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing key projects.
- Strong communication skills via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and discretion.

Work Environment: This role is primarily office-based.
