Role Summary

Heritage Senior Living/MSP Real Estate is on the lookout for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator. This role is pivotal in providing essential administrative support to our HR department. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail. This position is primarily office-based and requires occasional travel to various communities within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with HR personnel and leadership across our communities.
  • Support daily HR administrative tasks and functions.
  • Prepare, maintain, and audit HR records and documentation.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding processes, including managing hiring paperwork.
  • Utilize HR information systems to maintain employment records and generate statistics; ensure accuracy and compliance of HR documents.
  • Educate staff on company policies and ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist in managing employee leaves, verifications, unemployment claims, and other HR-related processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR experience; experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with employment and labor laws.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently while managing time effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
