POSITION OVERVIEW

The Grain Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in sourcing grain and/or marketing finished products to optimize financial performance. This position involves cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients while participating in various business operations such as finance, supply chain logistics, and market analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following are the primary responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse customer base
  • Manage customer accounts and address all account-related inquiries promptly to ensure exceptional service
  • Strategically merchandise products to enhance profitability
  • Formulate, execute, and refine grain purchasing strategies
  • Analyze market trends and interpret industry reports to stay informed of changes
  • Gain insights into competitor strategies
  • Comprehend local operational processes
  • Oversee supply chain management, including available transportation options
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
