El Especialista en Adquisición de Granos es responsable de la compra de granos y/o la comercialización de productos terminados para lograr resultados financieros óptimos. Este profesional desarrollará y mantendrá relaciones sólidas con los clientes, al mismo tiempo que participará en otras funciones comerciales como contabilidad, gestión de la cadena de suministro y comprensión de los mercados de granos actuales.

Responsabilidades:

A continuación se presenta una lista de las funciones que desempeña esta posición:

  • Establecer y mantener relaciones con una amplia gama de clientes.
  • Gestionar cuentas de clientes y resolver todos los problemas relacionados con las cuentas de manera oportuna para garantizar un excelente servicio al cliente.
  • Comercializar productos para maximizar la rentabilidad.
  • Planificar, desarrollar e implementar estrategias de compra de granos.
  • Comprender los mercados, interpretar informes de la industria y estar al tanto de cualquier cambio en las tendencias.
  • Desarrollar conocimiento sobre las actividades de la competencia.
  • Comprender las operaciones locales de la planta.
  • Conocer la gestión de la cadena de suministro y las operaciones de transporte disponibles.
  • Realizar todas las demás tareas relacionadas según lo asignado por los supervisores.

Educación y Experiencia Requeridas:
  • Título universitario de una institución acreditada, preferiblemente en Agricultura o Negocios.
  • Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en comercialización de granos preferida.
Requisitos Físicos:

El trabajo puede incluir:

  • Trabajo normal de oficina.
  • Trabajo pesado (levantar de 30 a 50 lbs).
  • Trabajo ligero (levantar 10 lbs).
  • Trabajo muy pesado (levantar más de 50 lbs).
  • Trabajo medio (levantar de 11 a 30 lbs).

Otras Requerimientos Físicos:

  • Capacidad física para monitorear y utilizar equipos según sea necesario.
  • Períodos prolongados de estar sentado en un escritorio y trabajando en una computadora.
  • Durante el desempeño de las funciones de este trabajo, el empleado debe hablar y escuchar con regularidad.
  • Capacidad para conducir un vehículo de la empresa o personal.
