Your Team
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic Care Management team, recognized as one of the leading medical groups in California. Position Responsibilities

The Customer Service Specialist I is tasked with managing incoming telephonic inquiries from all Altais customers. This role involves:

  • Handling calls related to customer service, referral services, and PPO claims.
  • Documenting all interactions in the EPIC CRM system.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for resolving customer inquiries, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Providing education and troubleshooting assistance regarding enrollment and the use of EpicLink.
  • Adhering to established production and quality standards while maintaining a consistent work schedule.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in resolving telephonic inquiries and maintaining professional relationships with customers.
  • Ability to utilize reference materials effectively and listen attentively to customer needs.
  • Research skills to address basic issues and follow up within established timeframes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with a professional approach to problem-solving.
  • Teamwork capabilities, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment.

Required Experience
Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in an IPA or HMO setting.
  • Experience with ACD software, such as Cisco Finesse.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, enrollment processes, and claims procedures.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10, RVS, and CPT codes.

Preferred Experience
Additional experience in customer service roles is advantageous.

Education
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
