Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Clerk to support our client operations. This role is designed as a temporary contract assignment. Candidates who meet the qualifications outlined below are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers at the service counter and provide direct assistance on various topics related to transit services and fare programs.
Conduct sales transactions utilizing the point of sale system, which includes selling fare media, merchandise, and processing various payments.
Address a wide range of customer inquiries and concerns regarding transit operations, including schedules and fare media programs.
Handle applications for Senior and Youth fare media.
Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues via phone or in-person interactions.
Provide information on fare media and clarify policies and pricing.
Process ticket exchanges and manage refund requests.
Oversee the bicycle rental program, including inventory management and customer notifications.
Review and submit applications for discount fare media for eligible individuals, ensuring proper communication of policies and procedures.
Conduct inventory checks of merchandise and perform additional related duties as assigned.
