Position: Senior Budget Analyst
Remote

Grant Leading Technology is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Budget Analyst to enhance our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, analysis, and management of budgets and financial reports for nationwide infrastructure initiatives associated with a federal agency. This role is fully remote, with standard working hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics monitoring.
- Analyze financial data and construct financial models to support decision-making.
- Report on financial outcomes and prepare documentation for project leadership evaluations.
- Formulate recommendations for management and executive presentations.
- Review historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and propose enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management Team and Stakeholders to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Assess financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Direct the cost analysis process by adhering to and enforcing established policies and procedures.
- Interpret data and examine lines of accounting and general accounting ledgers.
- Contribute insights for market research, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons.
- Maintain a robust financial analytical approach with fiscal forecasts, models, and expenditure tracking.

Qualifications and Educational Background:
- 10+ years of relevant analytical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or business administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
- Strong analytical and data collection skills.
- Experience with federal government operations is essential.
- Familiarity with reconciling Purchase Requests is required.
- Proficient in using Prism, Delphi, and other government financial systems.
- Capability to streamline processes and a desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Adaptability and persuasive communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with automated reporting and forecasting tools.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with executive-level management.
- Must reside in the United States and be willing to work East Coast hours.

Preferred Skills:
- FMVA or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Understanding of federal government financial processes, best practices, and terminology.
- Experience with GSA and knowledge of the eRETA system and RWA process.
- Familiarity with data query and management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects) is highly beneficial.

Compensation:
Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000
