Overview

As the SCADA Systems Engineering Lead at ENGIE North America, you will oversee a dedicated team of SCADA Engineers focused on the design and implementation of SCADA solutions for renewable energy projects, specifically in the Wind and Solar sectors across North America. You will collaborate closely with the Applications Management Director to ensure seamless integration of information technology and operational technology throughout the construction and commissioning phases of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of SCADA engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Utilize expertise in programming Schweitzer (SEL) protection relays, including SEL-351 and SEL-487, as well as RTAC-3530.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Schneider-EVEVA Wonderware System Platform to execute engineering projects efficiently.
  • Oversee the programming of PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and ABB platforms.
  • Implement and manage communication protocols such as DNP and MODBUS.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Automation and Controls Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in industrial automation within the Power Sector.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams of SCADA engineers.
  • Strong background in programming with Wonderware System Platform, including Galaxy repository and historian.
Additional Information
  • This position supports a hybrid work model.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight trips.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Adherence to ENGIE's ethics and safety policies is essential.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $128,400 - $196,765 USD annually. This range reflects the average expected pay for qualified candidates. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and internal alignment.

In addition to competitive base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus/incentive plan. ENGIE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employer-paid disability insurance. We also provide generous paid time off, including wellness days and holidays, as well as a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matching.
