Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Administer and maintain multiple Cygnet SCADA systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Scripting and Development: Develop and implement advanced scripting solutions to customize and optimize the SCADA platform.
  • Data Management: Assist in the normalization and standardization of large data overhauls to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement user-friendly SCADA screens.
  • On-Site Support: Travel to client sites every week (on average one night per week) to provide on-site support and assistance.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively address technical challenges, formulate plans, and execute them within specified timelines.
  • Custom Scripting: Execute intermediate custom scripting to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with Cygnet SCADA or Ignition SCADA (CygNet experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting and coding, with a focus on VBScript and Python (SQL knowledge is a plus).
  • Data Management: Experience with data normalization and standardization processes.
  • SCADA Design: Familiarity with SCADA screen design principles is beneficial.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel on a regular basis, with occasional overnight stays.
