Position Overview

As the SCADA Systems Engineering Lead at ENGIE North America, you will oversee a dedicated team of SCADA Engineers focused on the design and implementation of SCADA systems for renewable energy projects, including Wind and Solar across North America. You will collaborate closely with the Applications Management Director to deliver both information technology and operational technology support for the development and deployment of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of SCADA engineers in the execution of engineering projects.
  • Utilize expertise in programming Schweitzer (SEL) protection relays such as SEL-351 and SEL-487, along with RTAC-3530.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Schneider-EVEVA Wonderware System Platform to ensure timely project completion.
  • Engage in PLC programming, specifically with Allen Bradley and ABB systems.
  • Implement communication protocols including DNP and MODBUS.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Automation and Controls Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in industrial automation within the Power Sector.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong background in programming Wonderware System Platform (Galaxy repository and historian).
Additional Information
  • This position supports a hybrid work model.
  • Travel requirements include domestic travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight trips.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $128,400 - $196,765 USD annually. This range reflects the average expected pay for qualified candidates, with actual salary depending on various factors including geography, experience, and education.
