Position: Administrative Assistant - Plant Operations Department

Work Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM, with potential weekend shifts

Department: Plant Operations (Maintenance & Environmental Services)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and copiers is essential.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Compile data for monthly and quarterly reporting purposes.
  • Adapt to the fast-paced demands of the department.
  • Monitor and assist with departmental timesheets and employee scheduling.
  • Manage supply orders, ensuring proper documentation and submission to the finance department.
  • Draft written communications for staff as needed.
  • Assist in managing the manager's calendar, including meetings and deadlines.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
