JOB TITLE: Funding and Compliance Coordinator

POSITION GRADE: 81 [salary range: /hr commensurate with education and experience]

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Agency Advancement

SUPERVISOR: Director of Agency Advancement

ROLE SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Agency Advancement, the Funding and Compliance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the management of grant proposals and oversight of funding compliance. This full-time position is integral to the Program Quality Initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to the Agency's Code of Conduct and Policies.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive client and staff information.
  • Oversee the Raiser's Edge grant management system.
  • Investigate funding opportunities and collaborate with departmental leaders for proposal submissions.
  • Draft and evaluate grant proposals, monitor deadlines, and prepare necessary reports.
  • Work in conjunction with various teams for data gathering and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of grant resources and monitor financial expenditures.
  • Assist with additional Agency projects as required.
  • Identify and pursue new funding avenues to align with Agency objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in cross-functional project roles, ideally with a focus on grant writing.

Skills:

  • Proficient in research, writing, and effective communication.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and navigate challenges effectively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical Demands: This role requires working in an office setting.

Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge is advantageous. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.

Travel: Some travel may be required; a valid driver's license is necessary.
