We are looking for a proactive Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist to formulate and execute compliance strategies. Your role will involve assessing documentation and processes, engaging with both internal and external partners on compliance matters, and conducting compliance audits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with executives, managers, and staff to identify EHS and operational compliance priorities.
  • Review, update, and create documentation, processes, and practices related to hazardous materials and product options.
  • Design and implement regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Coordinate compliance procedures across various organizational levels.
  • Deliver training on compliance practices and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance and facilitate interventions to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct compliance audits and prepare reports.
  • Document compliance-related processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and developments in the compliance landscape.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Certification in regulatory and compliance assurance is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • Over five years of relevant work experience.
  • At least three years in a regulatory compliance role or similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with environmental health and safety regulations and legislation.
  • Experience with an ERP system is beneficial (Great Plains (GP), Vicinity, or WERCS experience is advantageous).

SKILLS

  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulatory laws, statutes, and reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership to interpret technical materials, including regulations and laws.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and training skills are essential. Capability to multitask and perform well under pressure is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in data collection and presentation.

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication abilities.
  • Results-oriented, accountable, and action-driven.
  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills are vital for this role.
  • Analytical skills and effective metric management.
