Role Overview:
The Customer Care Representative plays a vital role in interacting with homeowners and trade partners, ensuring a seamless experience during the final orientation and warranty service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-walk assessments of homes to create a comprehensive punch list for construction teams.
- Facilitate homeowner walkthroughs, providing guidance on appliance operations, HVAC systems, and home maintenance.
- Collaborate with construction teams and trade partners to ensure timely completion of walkthrough repairs.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of repairs by trade partners post-home delivery.
- Manage inspections with homeowners, evaluate warranty claims, and ensure all service requests are addressed promptly.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication with Customer Care leadership regarding progress and service scopes.
- Foster positive relationships with homeowners, delivering knowledgeable and professional service.
- Assess trade partner performance and provide feedback to the Customer Service Manager regarding quality standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to special projects as needed.
- Keep detailed logs of service requests and documentation of all activities performed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in residential customer service or construction preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license is necessary.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage confrontational situations with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Team-oriented and open to constructive feedback.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to work for extended periods, operate a vehicle, read blueprints, and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
Compensation Overview:
The expected base compensation for this position ranges from $19/hr to $34/hr, subject to adjustments based on qualifications and other business-related factors.
