Role Overview:

The Customer Care Representative plays a vital role in interacting with homeowners and trade partners, ensuring a seamless experience during the final orientation and warranty service processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct pre-walk assessments of homes to create a comprehensive punch list for construction teams.
  2. Facilitate homeowner walkthroughs, providing guidance on appliance operations, HVAC systems, and home maintenance.
  3. Collaborate with construction teams and trade partners to ensure timely completion of walkthrough repairs.
  4. Oversee the scheduling and execution of repairs by trade partners post-home delivery.
  5. Manage inspections with homeowners, evaluate warranty claims, and ensure all service requests are addressed promptly.
  6. Maintain clear and accurate communication with Customer Care leadership regarding progress and service scopes.
  7. Foster positive relationships with homeowners, delivering knowledgeable and professional service.
  8. Assess trade partner performance and provide feedback to the Customer Service Manager regarding quality standards.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to special projects as needed.
  10. Keep detailed logs of service requests and documentation of all activities performed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in residential customer service or construction preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage confrontational situations with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Team-oriented and open to constructive feedback.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to work for extended periods, operate a vehicle, read blueprints, and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting equipment weighing over 50 pounds.

Compensation Overview:

The expected base compensation for this position ranges from $19/hr to $34/hr, subject to adjustments based on qualifications and other business-related factors.
