Job Duties Include:

  • Installation and removal of holiday lighting
  • Decorating trees, shrubs, and lawns with holiday lights
  • Moss treatment and abatement
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Power washing of driveways and homes
  • Sorting and maintaining equipment and materials on-site

Compensation Structure:

New employees start at $17.00/hr. with an additional $2/hr. safety bonus, totaling $19.00/hr. for hours worked in compliance with safety standards. Hourly rates may increase based on relevant experience.

After the first two weeks in the field, new technicians will be assigned a base rate between $18 and $22 per hour (+$2/hr. safety bonus). Workers are expected to enhance their work quality and efficiency to increase their hourly wages, which will be rewarded based on performance.

Paychecks are issued bi-weekly, on Fridays following the end of a pay cycle. Overtime is compensated for hours exceeding 40 in a week (Monday - Sunday), though this should be minimized and only undertaken with prior approval from management.

Our goal is to operate an efficient and profitable business while ensuring fair compensation for all employees.

Time Commitment:

Full-time positions typically average 30-40 hours per week, though this may vary based on weather conditions and available work. Part-time roles range from 15-25 hours per week, depending on the season.

The holiday lighting season runs full-time from late October through January. Interior painting and home maintenance work will commence in February for candidates who excel during the holiday season.

Mandatory company meetings will occur every other Friday from 8:30-9:30 am, focusing on safety discussions tied to safety bonus wages.

General working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, but may vary based on ongoing projects. Potential hires may discuss scheduling conflicts with interviewing managers.
