Position Overview - Client Relations and Accounts Specialist

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is in search of a dedicated Client Relations and Accounts Specialist to efficiently manage customer orders, oversee data management, and resolve client issues in collaboration with our Inside Sales team and various departments.

This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritized while maintaining effective communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Input and modify all required orders and adjustments into the operating system.
  2. Assess appropriate inventory allocations against customer backlog to determine part distribution.
  3. Monitor and manage weekly customer backlog reports for reconciliation and shipping opportunities.
  4. Assist the Sales team in accessing EDI accounts for specific customers and processing orders as needed.
  5. Address customer inquiries regarding order discrepancies.
  6. Resolve challenging customer-related situations to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  7. Coordinate with other Howmet facilities and third-party vendors to respond to customer inquiries.
  8. Follow up and collaborate with various departments to provide timely responses to customer needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required upon hire.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), requiring U.S. person status.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Intermediate skills in spreadsheets, databases, and other software applications.
  • Experience in sales or customer service roles within the aerospace fasteners or related industries.
