Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Tailored Management. As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing amended payroll tax forms accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Amended Payroll Tax Forms: Prepare, review, and file amended payroll tax forms with federal and state tax agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Tax Agency Communication: Communicate effectively with federal and state tax agencies to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to payroll tax filings.
  • Workflow Improvement: Document, improve, and scale workflows to build an efficient amendment process, ensuring seamless execution and minimal errors.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their tax-related concerns and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and resolve issues arising from customer errors or product limitations, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Internal Controls: Facilitate the implementation of internal controls and audit requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Tax Expertise: Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in this field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience using Salesforce and other relevant tax software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in tax and/or payroll tax.
