Position Overview:
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a designated sales region, ensuring the achievement of sales targets while fostering strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Achievement: Meet and exceed established sales objectives.
  • Account Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through effective prospecting.
  • Product Promotion: Drive additional sales by introducing new products and initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain a regular call schedule with existing clients.
  • Growth Identification: Recognize opportunities for expansion within current accounts.
  • Sales Planning: Create sales proposals and conduct analytical assessments of business performance.

Relationship Management:
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate closely with existing customers to enhance their market presence.
  • Build partnerships based on trust and reliability in the Hillman program.

Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates to the Field Sales Manager.
  • Report competitive challenges and market trends to management.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

Service Excellence:
  • Deliver exceptional service to current accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to call frequency and quality standards.
  • Maintain display standards in line with Hillman expectations.
  • Update merchandising displays as per current guidelines.

Administrative Duties:
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to the role.
  • Fulfill business reporting obligations.
  • Manage monthly planning and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate with corporate teams on special projects.

Qualifications:
  • At least 33 months of successful experience in a sales role.
  • Proven territory sales volume of $750,000.
  • Strong sales acumen and understanding of marketing principles.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows OS.
