Sales Territory Manager

As a Territory Manager at The Hillman Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a designated sales territory, ensuring the achievement of sales objectives while fostering exceptional customer service and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and develop new accounts through proactive prospecting.
- Drive additional sales by introducing new products and initiatives.
- Maintain a consistent call cycle with existing clients.
- Explore growth opportunities by expanding existing customer relationships.
- Prepare sales proposals and conduct analytical assessments of business performance. - Relationship Management:
- Cultivate professional relationships with clients.
- Collaborate closely with current accounts to enhance their market presence.
- Establish partnerships based on trust and confidence in The Hillman Group's offerings. - Effective Communication:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and management.
- Provide regular updates to the Field Sales Manager.
- Report competitive challenges and market trends to management.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly. - Service Excellence:
- Deliver superior service to existing accounts.
- Adhere to a structured call cycle and frequency with clients.
- Ensure display standards meet The Hillman Group's expectations.
- Update merchandising displays in accordance with current guidelines. - Administrative Duties:
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to the role.
- Fulfill business reporting requirements.
- Maintain an organized monthly planner and manage expense reports.
- Collaborate with corporate staff on special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 33 months of successful experience in a sales role.
- Proven territory sales volume of at least $750,000.

- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle and lift up to 70 pounds.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows Operating System.
