Medical Support Case Manager

We have an opportunity for a Medical Case Manager.
Role Overview:
The Medical Case Manager is responsible for accurately capturing and documenting information from incoming calls related to both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as triaging patients effectively.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 3 shifts of 13 hours each per week; includes nights and weekends, allowing for a 3-day work week.
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
- Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address both urgent and non-urgent travel-related inquiries, which may encompass service requests such as medical referrals, prescription assistance, repatriation of remains, medical repatriation, and medical evacuation.
- Receive and assess requests for services; gather pertinent information and enter data; prioritize calls based on urgency; serve as the initial point of contact for clients via phone; escalate issues as needed.
- Document all relevant case management information utilizing Case Management Software (CMS).
- Conduct data entry, maintain organized files and reference materials, and perform additional clerical tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within the assistance sector.
- Background or education in one or more of the following fields: RN, Paramedic, EMT, medical case management, medical triage, LPN, medical records, medical terminology, medical coding, or medical writing.
