The role of the Medical Case Manager involves accurately capturing and documenting information from incoming calls related to both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as triaging patients.
Position Details for Medical Case Manager:
  • Schedule: 3 shifts of 13 hours each per week; including nights and weekends, *3-day work week
  • Compensation: $25 per hour
  • Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Key Responsibilities for Medical Case Manager:
  • Address both non-emergency and emergency inquiries related to travel, which may encompass service requests such as medical referrals, prescription support, repatriation of remains, medical repatriation, and medical evacuation;
  • Receive requests for services, gather pertinent information, input data, assess and prioritize calls, serve as the initial point of contact for clients via phone, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Record all case management-related information utilizing Case Management Software (CMS)
  • Conduct data entry, maintain files and reference materials, and perform additional clerical tasks;

Qualifications for Medical Case Manager:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within the Assistance sector.
  • Background or education in one or more of the following: RN, Paramedic, EMT, medical certification, medical case management, medical triage specialist, LPN, medical records, medical terminology, medical coding, or medical writing.
