Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a Healthcare Case Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately capturing and documenting information from incoming calls related to both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as triaging patients effectively.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 3 shifts of 13 hours each per week; includes nights and weekends, leading to a three-day work week.
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
- Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to both urgent and non-urgent travel-related inquiries, which may involve service requests such as medical referrals, prescription support, repatriation of remains, medical repatriation, and medical evacuation.
- Handle incoming requests for services; gather pertinent information and enter data; assess and prioritize calls for assistance; serve as the initial point of contact for clients via phone; escalate issues as necessary.
- Document all relevant case management information using Case Management Software (CMS).
- Perform data entry, maintain records and reference materials, and carry out additional clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within the assistance sector.
- Relevant experience or education in fields such as RN, Paramedic, EMT, medical case management, medical triage, LPN, medical records, medical terminology, medical coding, or medical writing.
