Position Overview:
The Medical Case Manager is responsible for accurately documenting and managing information from incoming calls related to both emergency and non-emergency situations, while effectively triaging patients.
Key Details:
  • Schedule: 3 shifts of 13 hours each per week; includes nights and weekends, resulting in a 3-day work week.
  • Compensation: $25 per hour.
  • Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Address both urgent and non-urgent travel-related inquiries, which may encompass service requests such as medical referrals, prescription assistance, repatriation of remains, medical repatriation, and medical evacuations.
  • Receive and process requests for services; gather pertinent information and enter data; assess and prioritize calls; serve as the initial point of contact for clients via phone; escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all case management activities using Case Management Software (CMS).
  • Conduct data entry, manage files and reference materials, and perform various clerical tasks.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within the assistance sector.
  • Relevant experience or education in fields such as RN, Paramedic, EMT, medical case management, medical triage, LPN, medical records, medical terminology, medical coding, or medical writing.
