Job Description

**Job Title:** IT Systems Administrator

**Job Summary:** Creed Monarch is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer network environment, including installing, updating, and troubleshooting various operating systems on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Administration: Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP device settings, DHCP, and DNS.
  • System Administration: Manage multi-factor authentication practices, server folder shares, security settings, and drive usage/folder sizes.
  • Firewall Management: Maintain local and remote firewalls, including firmware updates, SSL VPN 2FA, and website exclusions.
  • IT Support: Troubleshoot and resolve internal LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
  • Backup and Recovery: Manage daily duplication of backups, monitor logs, and execute restores when necessary.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Build and place into service all new computer workstations and hardware to users.
  • Desktop Support: Provide desktop support and training as necessary for all staff.
  • Patch Management: Utilize Action1 application software to review and release critical system updates to workstations and servers.
  • Documentation: Maintain IT documentation and support material.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all end users in the organization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of System Administration experience.
  • Experience administering and maintaining an ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing environment.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
  • VMware Virtualization and Administration.
  • Fundamentals of Windows operating system platforms (Servers and Workstations) some Linux.
  • MSCE/MSCA Certification preferred.
  • Google Workspace Administration including Google Workspace Sync preferred.

Working Conditions:

The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm; 1 hour lunch. Some Sunday hours are required for server maintenance and software upgrades as needed.
