Job Overview

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM

Primary Objective:

The individual in this role will oversee the comprehensive management, guidance, and administration of the Residential Program, Individual Home Support, or Continuous Residential Support. This includes ensuring the well-being of individuals, staff, facilities, and all pertinent information. The position requires adherence to all regulations set forth by relevant regulatory agencies and policies established by the CCARC, Inc. Board of Directors. Staying informed about current trends and best practices in providing services to individuals with disabilities is essential to maximize each individual's potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the designated Residential Program in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, ensuring compliance with standards set by regulatory bodies and CCARC, Inc. policies.
  • Develop an Individual Plan (IP) annually for each resident, identifying and implementing necessary supports with the Interdisciplinary team, including medical, transportation, and community resource needs.
  • Document changes, progress, and status updates regarding residents' objectives for all reviews.
  • Facilitate and participate in team meetings within the Residential Programs, including:
    • Individual (resident) meetings
    • Residential staff meetings
    • Interdisciplinary Team meetings
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support Residential Program staff, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with certification and training requirements.
  • Serve as an Agency Trainer.

Continued Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records within the Residential Programs in accordance with CCARC's record-keeping system, including Individual Plans, resident records, logs, meeting minutes, financial records, and incident reports.
  • Monitor the operating budget for the Residential Programs, managing expenses related to food, personal spending, and recreation.
  • Administer medications in compliance with State/DDS regulations and oversee medication management.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Director of Residential Services regarding program and staff matters.
  • Provide 24-hour on-call administrative support in emergencies.
  • Attend all agency staff meetings and contribute to residential audits and licensing requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good attendance and work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently when required.
  • Stay informed of and implement current trends and methods in alignment with CCARC policies.
  • Communicate facility needs to the Vice President of Operations.
  • Ensure that residential settings are safe and well-maintained.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 1 year of experience in the disabilities sector, or a minimum of 3 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED. Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurability with the Agency carrier are required.
  • Completion of the Agency's Employee Training is mandatory.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration is necessary.
  • Strong communication, record-keeping, and computer skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires physical and emotional health for effective job performance. Responsibilities may include lifting, transferring residents, and managing challenging behaviors. The employee must be capable of various physical activities, including sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
