Our Telecommunications Division has been a leader in establishing a new era of wireless communication infrastructure for over four decades. Our offerings encompass site acquisition, design, construction, and full operational maintenance.

Role Overview

The Telecom Construction Manager oversees the construction schedule, budget, and quality assurance of projects. This role also involves managing the resources executing the construction tasks, including direct reports, matrix staff, and subcontractor teams.

  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety protocols, review daily job site safety plans, and halt operations when unsafe practices or conditions are identified.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of ongoing construction projects, collaborating with senior construction managers or project managers for guidance on plan modifications.
  • Possess a solid understanding and experience in Construction and Material/BOM Management, collaborating with various departments.
  • Engage with the client's engineering team while leveraging the company's engineering and management resources for decision-making.
  • Responsible for scheduling, tracking, measuring, and reporting progress to key stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Implement the quality assurance program for all tasks, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in construction management is essential.
  • Experience in wireless construction is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Availability for day, night, and weekend work to support project completion is necessary.
  • An engineering or technical degree is preferred.
  • Active OSHA-30 Certification or higher is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.

Remote or local opportunities available. Typical salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $115,000, commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions: The role requires intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Hand manipulation is necessary for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor tasks. Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds is required. Awareness of equipment in the field is crucial, with potential exposure to construction site machinery, uneven terrain, dust, gas, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures.
