About the Role

Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our commercial construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, with a focus on tenant improvements, to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure fair and competitive pricing.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and senior management.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate project documentation and records to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management, specifically in commercial construction and tenant improvements.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of California State building codes and construction laws.
  • Skills: Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and the MS Office Suite. Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proven experience managing tenant improvement projects in commercial settings.
