Role Overview

The Telecom Construction Manager oversees the construction timeline, budget, and quality assurance for projects. This role also involves managing resources engaged in construction activities, including direct reports, matrix staff, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety protocols, review daily safety plans, and halt operations when unsafe practices or conditions are identified.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of specific construction projects, consulting with senior construction managers or project managers for guidance on plan modifications.
  • Possess a solid understanding and experience in Construction and Material/BOM Management, collaborating with various departments.
  • Engage with the client's engineering team while leveraging the company's engineering and management resources for decision-making.
  • Responsible for scheduling, tracking, measuring, and reporting progress to key stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Implement the quality assurance program for all work, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Qualifications Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Experience in wireless construction is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • Willingness to work during the day, night, and weekends to support project completion.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Engineering or Technical degree.
  • Active OSHA-30 Certification or higher is preferred.
  • Must be open to travel.

Essential Functions: The role involves intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor tasks. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary. Awareness of equipment in the field is crucial, as travel and work near construction site machinery may be required, along with exposure to various environmental conditions.
