Director of Strategic Partnerships and Professional Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Partnerships and Professional Studies to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and academic institutions to advance our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business and academic communities to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
- Design and Deliver Professional Development Programs: Develop and implement professional development programs for business and community leaders, as well as academic faculty and staff.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our marketing, advancement, and institutional development teams to identify and pursue opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
- Manage Budget and Resources: Develop and manage budgets and resources to support partnership development and professional development programs.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including business leaders, academic faculty and staff, and community organizations.
- Master's Degree: A master's degree in a field related to business, adult education, higher education, or leadership is required.
- Experience in Partnership Development: A minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development, program management, and professional development is required.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
