FMS Subject Matter Expert / Financial Analyst - Secret Clearance Required
Job Overview
LMI Consulting, LLC is in search of a proficient FMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Financial Analyst to support our initiatives within the National Capital Region. Key Responsibilities
The FMS SME / Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in overseeing and reporting on program execution under the International Security Cooperation Program (ISCP) and related security cooperation accounts managed by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). Responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing programmatic and administrative support;
- Facilitating information coordination;
- Building interdepartmental relationships;
- Conducting research and data analysis;
- Generating weekly execution monitoring reports;
- Managing budgets; and
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of the Section 333 Quarterly Monitoring Report.
Qualifications
General Skills: Candidates must possess strong computer and analytical skills, along with the ability to conduct research and communicate effectively in writing. The role requires flexibility, exceptional interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the capability to collaborate with various levels of internal management and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel.
Technical Skills:
- Proven knowledge and experience in financial management and project oversight;
- Understanding of budgeting and appropriations in relation to program execution;
- Able to cultivate positive relationships with DoD Agencies, the State Department, Combatant Commanders, Joint Staff, Military Departments, and in-country Security Cooperation Officers.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Advanced Excel skills for data evaluation, formulas, and analytics;
- Ability to transfer presentation graphics from Excel to PowerPoint or Word;
- Enhanced computer skills beyond minimum requirements, such as SharePoint, Access databases, and media presentation.
Applicants must hold a SECRET clearance and will undergo a government security investigation to meet eligibility for access to classified information. Only U.S. citizens with current security clearances will be considered.
