Job OverviewPosition Summary

The Senior Subject Matter Expert (Acquisition) will be instrumental in addressing the procurement requirements of the organization, overseeing the entire process from the initial conception of needs to the management following contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver acquisition guidance and specialized knowledge in both pre-award and post-award acquisition activities.
  • Specialize in either pre or post-award functions while being capable of contributing to both phases as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of policies and enhance processes for efficiency.
  • Assist in the creation of templates and reporting mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with the Government to define overarching contract strategies and facilitate the execution of strategic contracting opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Preferred candidates will have proven experience in CISA / DHS cybersecurity acquisition.
  • Alternatively, candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and excellence in acquisition management.
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
