Dover or New Castle (onsite 3 days a week, 5 days during training until proficient)

Salary:
$65,000

Projects:
Engage in significant interchange developments and pathway projects
Employ MicroStation for design tasks, gaining foundational engineering knowledge, and mentorship
Conduct calculations, implement design modifications, and oversee final evaluations
Projects will increase in complexity as your expertise expands

Job Overview:

The Transportation Infrastructure Engineer will undertake essential functions in roadway and transportation engineering, ensuring adherence to design specifications and standards.

This position involves managing various projects, drafting engineering documentation, and formulating construction cost assessments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design Implementation:
Participate in the design process under the guidance of seasoned professionals

Client Relations:
Support the maintenance and growth of client partnerships

Project Documentation:
Create engineering documents and cost projections

Team Collaboration:
Contribute to a cooperative environment across multiple projects

Experience with State Agency Transportation Departments
EIT Certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and Inroads or Geopak

Background:
Civil engineering or related field
EIT preferred, with training to obtain PE
0-4 years of experience

Qualifications:

Education:
BSCE from an ABET-accredited institution
Experience: 1-4 years in highway transportation design (internships or relevant coursework considered)

Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
