Shift Details: 3rd Shift - 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, maintain, and repair molding machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve machine issues during the shift, assessing situations related to production to perform necessary repairs, thereby enhancing quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Accountable for the upkeep of specific equipment within the department, with the ability to investigate and monitor machine-related problems.
  • Organize tasks effectively to ensure the completion of scheduled Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and address outstanding machine issues while maximizing operational efficiencies.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and modifications necessary to standardize machine setups.
  • Participate in shift turnover meetings, conveying essential information to optimize quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections of molded parts, document process settings, and make adjustments as outlined by the Quality System.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform related tasks as required or directed based on situational needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from a Vocational Technical School or equivalent Trade/Military experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Achieve a minimum score of sixty-five (65) on the Standard Timing Model.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues including Maintenance & Operations personnel, Electricians, Mold Set Up Technicians, Tool & Die Makers, and Management to resolve issues and seek continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to function effectively in a dynamic environment where priorities and tasks may shift rapidly, demonstrating a readiness to make decisions.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and decisiveness.
