Job Overview

The Calibration Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the test cell facility's instrumentation and equipment. This includes working with various systems such as drive mechanisms, fuel delivery systems, dynamometers, pumps, heating units, heat exchangers, and motor vibration data. The role involves the installation and calibration of exhaust gas emission measurement devices, along with performing preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.

Daily Responsibilities: Team leaders will conduct morning briefings to outline the shift's objectives, delegate tasks to technicians, and offer support throughout the workday. Technicians will ensure equipment functionality, execute tests, carry out maintenance activities, and collaborate with other departments as necessary.

Qualifications Required:

  • A High School Diploma is mandatory; an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an electrical-related discipline, along with relevant certifications, is preferred; a Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical fields.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents, adhering to procedures, and complying with regulations.
