Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker Specialist to join our team at Edgewell Personal Care Brands, LLC. As a Toolmaker Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of machine and bench operations connected with the construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair of all types of tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, mold tools, special holding devices, fixtures for production machines, special purpose tooling, gages, and various fixed gages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform machine and bench operations to produce new or repair parts, including layout and production of parts, construction, fitting, assembly, and installation of special purpose company-designed machines and equipment for production and processing.
  • Design and develop mechanisms and details for tooling and mold production, ensuring close tolerances and interrelationships.
  • Operate machine tools, including surface grinders, while standing for extended periods and using hands to reach overhead to perform necessary functions.
  • Coordinate the use of both hands in a sitting and/or standing position to operate surface grinders.
  • Make correct decisions regarding fits, finishes, machining, and assembly sequences to produce workable parts.
  • Perform heat and water testing of molds before and after repairs and maintenance.
  • Achieve established mold maintenance times and expected quantity of work in designated departments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a recognized Tool & Die State Apprenticeship program preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of insert mold machines, assembly equipment, progressive dies, and fixtures.

Benefits: Edgewell Personal Care Brands, LLC offers a competitive salary range of STLG9, starting from $32.01 per hour, based on experience.
